DR. EUGENE GIANNINI

Dr. Eugene Giannini graduated from Georgetown University's School of Dentistry in 1988 and completed an externship at the University of Bern, Switzerland’s dental school. He completed a postgraduate residency at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. Dr. Giannini received his B.A. degree from New York University in New York City.

In private practice since 1990, Dr. Giannini is an active member in the American Dental Association. He served as the President of the District of Columbia Dental Society from 2006-2007. In addition, Dr. Giannini is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and was inducted into the prestigious International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists in October 2006. These organizations recognize outstanding and meritorious service to the dental profession and community.

Dr. Giannini, as a leading expert in dental care, has contributed to and authored articles and has made national appearances on CNN, the Fox News Network and NPR's "Talk of the Nation". He has appeared locally on Washington's WJLA Channel 7 news and News Channel 8, as well as on WAMU's "Derrick McGinty" talk show. In addition, he contributed to the highly publicized book, "What to Expect in Your Fifties" by author Judy Mandel. Dr. Giannini continues to be recognized as a "Top Dentist" by Washingtonian magazine.

Dr. Giannini's strength is in enhancing smiles cosmetically and providing advanced reconstructive care.

Dr. Giannini is a member of the Georgetown University Board of Governors as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Iona Senior Services of Northwest DC. He resides in the Spring Valley area of Washington, D.C. with his wife Blair and son, Witt.
