We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I consider myself a “jack of all trades." Most of what I do happens behind the scenes. I make sure the doctor or hygienist has your chart for your visit. If you have seen a specialist, I make sure the correspondence between the specialist and our office is in your chart. I’m also an extension of our office in a way; if you are seeing a specialist I make sure your X-rays are already there to make your visit the most productive it can be. I’m also the first “go-to” person when other staff members are having computer or software issues, so I guess you could call me a fireman of sorts. I like thinking that what I do makes a difference in people’s lives, no matter how big or small.
I’m a former surfer, born and raised in sunny Southern California. I came to DC by way of a track and field scholarship. You used to be able to hear me do sports reports for WTOP!
My general duties include assisting in four-handed dentistry, taking and pouring impressions, scanning for Invisalign®, fabricating bleaching trays, sterilizing instruments, taking and developing digital X-rays, taking clinical notes, and taking dental photographs. The most important aspect of my job, however, is making sure each patient is comfortable and feels at ease when he or she is with us. I feel fortunate to see our patients on a consistent basis, and the relationships we’re able to develop over time mean a lot to me.
I'm married to a wonderful husband and I'm a proud mother of two young boys. We enjoy spending time together as a family, whether we’re exploring the city or taking photos outdoors.
Internal Practice Administrator
My association with dentistry goes all the way back to my childhood, when I used to spend time in my father’s dental office. His love of the profession and dedication to the well-being of his patients inspired me to pursue a career as a dental hygienist. I had to give up clinical practice due to an injury, but that didn’t stop my dedication to the dental field. I have helped Drs. Giannini and Gray with accounting and team benefits for over 20 years now, allowing our practice to offer the best employee compensation package in the entire Metro area. Our team is made up of a wonderful, diverse group of individuals who are devoted to their jobs, team members, patients, and the promotion of dental health. They are a pleasure to be with, in and out of the office!
I assist our patients with their insurance and financial needs and concerns, allowing them to receive the dental care they need while staying within their budgets. My 30 years of experience in the dental field gives me the ability to deftly navigate through the sometimes confusing world of insurance benefits. I am always willing to help patients in any way, and am here to answer any questions they may have.
From spring to autumn, I enjoy being with my daughters and their children at the beach, mostly on the weekends. The winter months are spent with family, my cat, and preparing for the holidays and any snow that might come our way.
When I'm asked what keeps me coming back to work after over 27 years the answer is simple, you! I have enjoyed forming many relationships with the patients here at our practice. The goal of our office is to provide exceptional individual care for our patients. I love that I get to come to work and make a difference in helping our patients maintain their beautiful smiles.
I was born in Michigan, but grew up in Maryland. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Maryland. My other full time job is my husband Cayce, Matt my teenage son and our Cockapoo Zoe.
It’s a great feeling to know that the appliances I create play a direct role in the beautiful smiles our patients achieve. I love the hands-on, detail-oriented aspects of my job, but most of all, I adore seeing our patients’ appreciation for the care and detail that goes into every appliance I make. I love working together with everyone on our team to meet our office’s goal — to give the patient the best experience possible.
I’m a simple and organized man with a beautiful wife and amazing daughter with whom I like to spend time. I love sports, especially soccer and tennis, and hanging out with my friends.
I ensure that our hygienists and their patients have smooth and wonderful experiences at each appointment, in addition to providing support to our front desk staff and the rest of our team. I feel very fortunate to work at such a great place as Giannini & Gray Dental Partners; each person on our team is 100 percent committed to giving our patients the best possible care. At the end of the day, when I see our patients’ smiling faces, I know we’ve made a difference in their lives.
I’ve lived in the DC area for eight years, but since I am originally from Johnstown, PA, I still cheer for all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, going to see live music, dancing, and spending time with my close friends and family, especially when we’re playing board games and watching movies.
I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. I began practicing in Boston and have lived in Northern Virginia and Denver before finally settling down in Washington, DC. I enjoy working on a one-on-one basis with each patient, tailoring my care to meet his or her individual needs. Our doctors and our team are dedicated to each patient’s entire health and well-being. We try to individualize our treatment and education. We don’t want to be just another dental office; we want to provide exceptional customer care and service.
I love spending time with my wonderful nieces and nephew. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, playing duplicate bridge, hiking and biking in West Virginia, and attending Big Ten athletic events.
My start in dentistry began before I got my high school diploma. As a Junior I worked in a dental office sterilizing instruments. It was not glamorous, but as a young adult it was money in the bank. Before I went to hygiene school I was a dental assistant for 14 years. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene at the University of Maryland. Go Terps! It is my goal to provide patients with the knowledge they need to understand the relationship between oral health and the rest of their bodies. I treasure the mutual respect that both doctors have for our hygiene staff’s diagnosis and treatment of different levels of periodontal disease. Our whole team is on the same page in regards to oral health as it relates to systemic health; we strive to make our patients completely healthy.
I am a local, born and raised in Montgomery County, just three blocks from the DC line. I currently live in Kensington with my husband; we're empty nesters with a 15-year-old dog named Lou.
As a dental assistant, I work alongside our doctors with all aspects of patient care. I am also able to use my artistic talents to assist our doctors during aesthetic procedures. Seeing a beautiful smile that I helped to create is so rewarding! Every day is a new and exciting experience. I love working in an honest and fun environment, with coworkers who feel like family. This really is my second home!
I am happily married and the mother of two wonderful children. We also have two puppies that make our home complete. When I have free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and being with friends and family.
For the past 25 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Drs. Giannini and Gray in the care of our patients. In that time, I’ve seen our doctors do some beautiful dentistry, but more importantly, I’ve seen them change lives with the care they provide. Everyone on our team comes together to help patients achieve the ideal health and stunning smiles they deserve. We build long-standing relationships that make us truly a family!
At home, I have a wonderful husband and a son. I love cooking, reading, traveling, and going to the gym.
My job is to make patients feel comfortable, educate them about their treatments, assist the doctors during procedures, and help the rest of my team wherever I’m needed. I’ve been a dental assistant for six years and couldn’t imagine doing anything else, especially since joining Drs. Giannini and Gray. My favorite part of my job is not only working to educate patients, but also continually learning new things. I love learning from both our doctors. They encourage us to improve our skills and I am a better assistant because of them. Our entire staff works together, and we strive daily to provide the best treatment and care for our patients.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. I love traveling, cooking with my husband, and reading romantic novels when I can find a quiet moment. I’m also involved in my church with community outreach programs.
As an expanded duty dental assistant, my position allows me to perform some expanded functions under the direct supervision of our doctors. My responsibilities include educating and providing patients with the tools necessary to improve their oral hygiene, being knowledgeable and efficient in a wide range of procedures, sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment and instruments in accordance with OSHA, and improving the oral health of every patient of the dental office. My favorite part my job is the daily interaction with our patients, doctors, and my other team members. They are my “extended family,” and provide tremendous compassion, comfort, friendship, and professional excellence.
My dental skills are very complementary with my hobby of designing jewelry. They both require passion, knowledge of materials, artistry, manual dexterity, and attention to detail to achieve the best final product.
Patient Care Coordinator
I supervise the day-to-day operations of the front desk and maintain the integrity of our schedule and patient flow. My goal is to provide each patient with a warm, friendly dental experience from the moment he or she walks through the door. I love working in an environment of mutual respect and understanding. I value that we’ve all been together for many years, enjoy what we do, and have fun doing it. It feels like family!
I love spending time with my wonderful family, especially my new granddaughter! I enjoy taking walks with my two dogs, cooking, reading, spending time with friends, caring for the elderly, attending church, football, dining out, and taking long road trips.
I work with my patients on a personal level to promote ideal dental health and provide preventive treatments and education. Not only do I enjoy working with people, but I also love seeing my patients’ hygiene and oral health improve because of the care I provided. I love working with Drs. Giannini and Gray because they are the best and most ethical dentists I have ever met, and they value each one of us. Everyone on our team is here for each other whenever we’re needed.
I have a very loving and caring husband who I adore, and a daughter who we enjoy spending time with.
Patient Care Coordinator
It is my responsibility to create an environment that’s pleasant, professional, and productive. I manage the schedule, day-to-day operations, and patient flow so our office runs as smooth as possible. I feel so lucky to come to work every day with a great attitude and am excited to help our team take the best possible care of our patients. It’s been 20 years since I joined Drs. Giannini and Gray, and I can’t imagine working anywhere else.
I am happily married with one grown son and a lovely daughter-in-law. I’m involved in my church community, as well as outreach programs; my passion is helping people! I also enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
