Meet Dr. Luke Schwartz
Dr. Luke Schwartz grew up in Fredericksburg, VA, as the middle of five children in a primarily health care family. After graduating high school from Woodberry Forest School, a boarding school in Central Virginia, Dr. Schwartz set his sights on pursuing the field of dentistry.
Dr. Schwartz graduated with a B.S. in Biophysics from Wake Forest University, where he served as vice president of the Pre-Dental Student Association. Immediately following his undergraduate education, Dr. Schwartz attended Temple University-Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Dr. Schwartz completed a hospital residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he served as the chief resident of the Department of Dentistry. During his residency, Dr. Schwartz served as the primary dental care provider for a diverse set of patient groups, including: the medically complex, patients undergoing head and neck cancer treatment, special-needs patients, cleft lip & palate patients, as well as dental emergency & trauma patients.
He is committed to providing his patients with the highest quality of care by using the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Schwartz has committed to completeing over 100 hours of continuing education every year. Additionally, he has chosen to further continue his education in comprehensive restorative & cosmetic dentistry at The Pankey Institute, where he now serves as a visiting faculty member.

Outside of the office Dr. Schwartz is with his wife Taylor and newborn daughter Georgia. His family can all be found golfing, hiking, cooking, as well as collecting vinyl records.
During your visit at the dental office, you may catch a glimpse of Dr. Schwartz's Goldendoodle pet dog Teddy, who occassionally accompanies him to the office. But don't worry, Teddy isn't put to work and stays out of all of the clinical areas.
